Below is a list of every site contributing content to Review Academy:

Bill’s Movie Emporium

movies_bills-movie-emporium

Bill’s Movie Emporium is a site for reviews, maybe the odd rambling every once in a while, of movies from any year and any genre. It’s a pretty simple concept and I hope to over time populate it with scores of reviews. You may also find reviews of TV shows, time will tell on that one.

The only writer you will find at Bill’s Movie Emporium, is moi, Bill Thompson. I’m a twenty something dude from Illinois that loves movies. That’s really all there is to know, I love movies and I love to write about them and thus this site was born. Enjoy.

*Editor’s Note: Bill’s Movie Emporium also runs The Domain of Nihilus, a Star Wars site that focuses primarily on the Expanded Universe.

BillieDoux.com

index_billie_doux

I’m Billie Doux. I review individual episodes of science fiction, fantasy and cult television shows. If you like what you’re reading, I’d consider it a personal favor if you’d bookmark me and tell your friends. Plaster links to me all over the posting boards. I don’t want much, really I don’t.

The mighty Billie Doux guest writers and I are posting all reviews on my blog as well as here on my main site. You can subscribe to the blog, hint hint (see the box on the top left). Of course, you can actually leave comments on the blog. And I hope you will.

Dauntlessmedia.net

index-dauntlessmedia

DauntlessMedia.net is setting a new standard for content-specific websites. It is a collection of websites dedicated to the thorough examination of modern myth. Much like Joseph Campbell sought to uncover and analyze the interconnectedness of ancient cultures and mythologies, DauntlessMedia.net will seek to uncover and analyze the interconnectedness, the mythos, of modern stories.

To that end, DauntlessMedia.net has established a number of websites dedicated to specific mythologies, such as Star Trek: The Next Generation, Battlestar Galactica, Indiana Jones, Transformers, Star Wars, Lost etc. More sites will be added as part of an ongoing process to develop a comprehensive basis for our explorations. And through a series of critical analyses and reviews, these sites will establish a foundation on which we can build our future explorations of modern myth.

Kethinov

index-kethinov

This is the personal website of Eric Newport, AKA Kethinov.

I’m a web developer living in Silicon Valley currently working for PayPal. I have also worked for Google on GMail in 2007 and Yahoo! on Yahoo! Local Neighbors in 2007 as well as Yahoo! Messenger (writing plugins for the Windows version) in 2006.

I have a passion for UNIX-like operating systems and open source software, especially Linux, particularly the Ubuntu variety. My other interests include writing, digital art, science fiction TV and films, and various forms of video gaming.

When I’m not working, I spend my time working on my hobby projects such as NINRemixes.com (as well as other projects which are not yet finished), writing articles and reviews on this site, and generally living life to its fullest.

This website serves as a portfolio of my collective works, a place for me to express thoughts and ideas artistically, and as a valuable resource for the multitudes of topics I choose to cover.

SecondViews.com

index_secondviews

SecondViews is a entity devoted to taking second looks at all types of media. It could be films, television, music, literature…just about anything professional or amateur. Founder Paul Talon will generally be reviewing media after having more than one viewing to see what happens when the afterglow wears off. There will also be FirstViews, but these are not the focus per se. Generally the focus will be on science fiction/fantasy/action/adventure but nothing is untouchable.

In addition, some specific media will dictate SubSection for further exploration. SecondViews: V is our best example of what a SubSection can be. SecondViews will also strive to be an open content for users. Should a user like to help SecondViews in anyway, whether it be contributing reviews or helping to develop a SubSection that they themselves might want to maintain, simply submit your ideas, and upon acceptance, Paul would be glad to help you develop and maintain to let you be a part of SecondViews.
